Job Summary:
As a Client Account Manager, you will be the driving force behind client relationships, maintaining strong connections, ensuring satisfaction, and leading impactful campaigns. In this role, you are the client’s voice within the agency, steering projects with pace and passion. You will liaise closely with internal teams to execute client strategies, manage timelines, and ensure the delivery of outstanding, on-budget services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture strong, trusting relationships with clients.
- Gain a deep understanding of clients' business goals, marketing objectives, and challenges.
- Communicate proactively with clients, providing updates, addressing concerns, and gathering feedback.
- Collaborate with creative, digital, and strategy teams to develop and execute marketing campaigns.
- Oversee project timelines and scope to meet or exceed client expectations and agreed KPIs.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and potential risks to ensure seamless, high-quality delivery.
- Work with clients to understand their marketing needs and objectives.
- Contribute to strategy development, bringing the client’s perspective to internal planning.
- Translate client briefs into comprehensive, actionable marketing briefs for the team.
- Offer or coordinate strategic guidance to enhance client marketing initiatives.
- Provide clients with regular performance reports, insights, and recommendations for campaign optimisation.
- Use data-driven insights to inform and enhance campaign effectiveness.
- Embrace a proactive, continuous improvement approach to exceed client expectations.
- Identify and resolve any client issues, working with the broader agency team as needed.
- Anticipate challenges and coordinate with internal teams to implement solutions.
- Ensure client satisfaction and loyalty through excellent service, fostering retention and growth.
- Collaborate with clients to establish project budgets, ensuring clarity on scope and deliverables.
- Develop thorough project quotations, aligning with all internal parties.
- Address any client budget queries, negotiating changes as necessary with support from senior team members.
- Ensure projects are delivered profitably, within the agreed budget.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a client account management role, ideally within a digital or marketing agency.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing and campaign management.
- Excellent communication, project management, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive approach with a passion for client success and continuous improvement.
