Job Title: Business Analyst
Location: Cullompton/ Hybrid – 3 days in office
Salary: up to £55,000 DOE

We are proud to be working in partnership with a respected and forward-thinking organisation seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support the delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital and ERP projects.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and detail-oriented individual to play a pivotal role in shaping business solutions that drive measurable improvements in efficiency and value. Working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments, the Business Analyst will define, document, and translate business requirements into practical, high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities of the Business Analyst:
- Gather and document business requirements, producing clear user stories and specifications.
- Lead workshops and stakeholder discussions to define functional and non-functional requirements.
- Support the research, assessment, and selection of software solutions that best meet business needs.
- Work collaboratively with project teams to ensure successful project outcomes and smooth delivery.
- Analyse current and future business processes to identify opportunities for improvement and optimisation.
- Assist with creating user documentation, training materials, and change-impact assessments.
- Manage assigned tasks and deliverables, ensuring they are completed to agreed standards and timelines.
- Build strong working relationships across teams, acting as a trusted link between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements of the Business Analyst:
Essential:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a project-focused environment.
- Experience in the delivery of ERP solutions.
- Familiarity with digital and web projects, including CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager), UX/UI principles, and web analytics.
- Strong background in requirements gathering, functional specification writing, and user story techniques.
- Skilled in facilitation and negotiation, with the ability to manage conflict and achieve consensus.
- Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of both Agile (Scrum) and Waterfall methodologies.
- Knowledge of business analysis tools, techniques, and methodologies relevant to software delivery.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering Microsoft ERP solutions.
- Working towards or achieved BCS Business Analysis certification (or equivalent).
- Experience leading small projects or initiatives.
- Technical analysis and experience with Jira or similar tools.
- Understanding of the ITIL Framework and UX/UI standards.
- Previous experience in a B2B environment.
