Full Stack Developer
Location: Remote
Salary: Up to £45k DOE

Our client, a growing development agency, is seeking talented Full Stack Developers to join their remote team, or individuals looking to specialise on the front end or back end. This role will involve close collaboration with development and management teams, taking responsibility for both backend and frontend projects. You'll work across a variety of technologies and tools to deliver high-quality websites and applications while ensuring project goals are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend daily stand-ups, project meetings, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with development and specialist team members, delegating tasks when necessary.
- Manage tasks using a ticketing system, providing regular progress updates and logging hours.
- Launch website updates using methods such as Git pipelines and manual SFTP.
- Support and test updates, providing feedback on complex issues.
- Research and define technical requirements for projects.
- Present technical directions and solutions with clear rationale.
- Configure WordPress websites using Elementor, Advanced Custom Fields, and raw PHP.
- Create and extend Laravel framework projects based on provided specifications.
Requirements:
- Hold a computing degree or equivalent qualification, or demonstrate relevant experience in producing reliable, high-performance code.
- Strong knowledge of PHP 7 & 8, JavaScript/JSON, SQL, CSS, Git, and Linux server management (Apache, MariaDB, PHP-FPM).
- Familiarity with database design, web security, and WCAG/Accessibility standards.
- Ability to work autonomously and within a collaborative team environment.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices in web development and server technology.
Bonus Skills:
- Experience with PHP frameworks (Laravel, Symfony, WordPress) and testing frameworks (Cypress, Pest).
- Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Vue, Next, Nuxt) and utility-based CSS frameworks (Tailwind, SASS/SCSS).
- Familiarity with build tools (Gulp, Webpack, Vite) and other languages (Python, Rust, Go, Java).
- Experience with Google Analytics, SEO, and continuous integration tools (GitHub, DevOps, Kubernetes).
