In this diverse position, you will collaborate with agency partners to create a robust digital marketing strategy, encompassing social media (paid), SEO, content, community management, and email. Working within a friendly team of ambitious experts, you’ll be pivotal in managing specific parts of the marketing plan and overseeing website elements to meet business objectives.
This brand-new full-time position effectively merges digital marketing with the latest ecommerce trends! You’ll work closely with the Head of Marketing, enjoying plenty of exciting opportunities to get creative and, most importantly, take ownership of key areas of the marketing plan.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Collaborate with agency partners to devise a digital strategy aligned with the overarching marketing and business plan.
- Work with agency partners to oversee social media and content for the brand across all digital platforms.
- Help implement and drive the content strategy.
- Work alongside agency partners to deliver on paid social and Google advertising objectives.
- Project manage key parts of the marketing plan.
- Oversee community management.
- Edit and update the website, including new product lines, copy, and visuals.
- Maintain and refresh elements of the ecommerce store.
- Support the wider marketing team on POS, new product launches, and trade catalogues.
- Create, execute, and track email campaigns.
- Generate reports and manage dashboard reporting.
- Perform ad hoc marketing duties as required.
What Skills Are Needed?
Essential:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working for an ecommerce business or in an agency with ecommerce clients.
- Demonstrable experience running digital campaigns, including paid social (META and Google).
- Knowledge of the principles of online conversion, email marketing, and engaging content.
- Strong numerical and data analysis skills.
- Growth mindset – keen to learn and not afraid to ask questions or challenge conventional ideas.
- Open-minded, fun, and positive attitude.
To note, the agency will manage paid social campaigns, but you will need to understand best practices and what good looks like, including the latest updates and trends (GA4).
Desirable:
- Experience with Content Management Systems (CMS) and email campaign tools (e.g., Klaviyo).
- Knowledge of reporting dashboards.
- Interest in behavioral science and uncovering customer insights.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 per year
You will need to have your own car as the office is in a rural location and not near public transport links. Please note due to the hybrid nature of the position applications will not be considered outside of a 45 minute commute from South Devon.
