Responsibilities of the IT Field Engineer:
- Conduct regular on-site visits to client, addressing a range of IT networking and end-user support requests.
- Provide technical support and consultancy for IT services and technologies, including Microsoft, Google, and Apple platforms.
- Process and escalate support requests both on-site and remotely via the helpdesk.
- Collaborate with Account Managers on project work at client sites, contributing to the direction and scope of projects.
Requirements:
- Strong experience within an IT support role or an IT consultancy environment.
- Practical knowledge of firewalls and HP Aruba switches
- Proficiency in Windows AD, Microsoft Office 365, Azure AD, and MS InTune device management.
- Well-developed network troubleshooting skills, with knowledge of LAN & WAN technologies.
- Some experience in VMWare and Microsoft Hyper-V (desirable).
- Familiarity with recent Microsoft Server builds (2016-2019).
- Experience with Google Workspace (desirable).
- Relevant certification in Networking (e.g., CCNA) and/or Microsoft.
