Role: IT Technician
Salary: £25k-£27k
Location: Exeter - Hybrid
We’re working with a fantastic organisation who are looking for a Service Delivery Technician to join their in-house IT team, supporting colleagues across the business and helping to keep everything running smoothly.
You’ll be the person people turn to when things need fixing, updating or improving - combining your technical know-how with your friendly, proactive approach to deliver great service every time.
What you’ll be doing
- Acting as the first point of contact for IT support queries from colleagues, taking ownership and resolving issues where possible.
- Supporting and maintaining desktop, server, and cloud systems to keep the business working efficiently.
- Providing both remote and on-site support, offering clear communication and excellent customer service.
- Getting involved in system upgrades, migrations, and deployments, particularly across the Microsoft technology stack.
- Playing your part in ensuring compliance with information security policies and best practice standards.
- Working closely with the wider IT and project teams to improve systems and introduce new solutions.
What we’re looking for
- Relevant qualifications and/or experience in the IT field
- Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, and Office 365 administration and support.
- A good understanding of Microsoft Teams and unified communications tools.
- Familiarity with SANs, servers, and network infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills and a people-first mindset — able to explain tech clearly and patiently to non-technical users.
