At this boutique agency, they partner with exciting brands to deliver smart, data-driven content strategies that get results. This is a fully remote role, so you'll need to be proactive, independent, and a specialist in your field to demonstrate recommendations to clients and teammates alike.
About the Role
As our Keyword and Content Specialist, you’ll take full ownership of the content process from audits and research, to planning, briefing, and reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Content Audits – Analyse and assess existing content against client goals, identifying gaps and growth opportunities.
- Keyword Research – Use tools like Ahrefs and SEMrush to conduct detailed keyword research that informs content plans.
- Content Strategy – Develop and deliver impactful content strategies that align with business goals and user intent.
- Content Calendars – Plan and maintain well-structured calendars balancing short-term wins and long-term growth.
- Content Briefs – Create clear, structured briefs that make SEO best practices easy to execute.
- Performance Reporting – Track and report content performance using platforms like GA and Search Console.
- Client Communication – Present strategies, findings, and insights to stakeholders with clarity and confidence.
- Process Improvement – Help us refine our internal tools, templates, and processes.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a keyword/content specialist or SEO content role — ideally in an agency or multi-client setting. Inhouse and agency experience would be a bonus.
- Strong grasp of SEO content strategy, content audits, and keyword research
- Comfortable analysing performance data and articulating your recommendations
- Proficiency with SEO tools (e.g. SEMrush, Ahrefs), Google Analytics, and Search Console
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including client presentations
- Highly organised, self-motivated, and deadline-driven
- Experience managing content calendars, briefs, and reporting
Nice to Have
- Experience briefing or managing freelance/in-house writers
- A basic understanding of technical SEO principles
- Familiarity with CMS platforms (especially WordPress)
- Previous agency or multi-project experience
