**Marketing Executive**

What you’ll be doing
This is a hands-on role where you will be working across brand, marketing, and communications. You’ll be working with and learning from our Head of Strategic Marketing & Communications to:
- Create content: Support the Head of SM&C in creating and distributing engaging and FCA-compliant content for various marketing channels, including social media, blogs, email marketing, newsletters, presentations, and website news. Create and manage social media and blog calendars to ensure timely execution. Create/edit video content for social and marketing channels.
- Digital: Manage, update, and grow our client's social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube). Monitor social media engagement, respond to comments, and track key performance metrics. Assist in updating and maintaining the company website with new content, news, and blog posts, always with an eye on SEO considerations. Continually look to raise our profile to help us expand our digital and overall industry presence and increase brand awareness.
- Campaigns: Ability to plan, execute, track and report on email, social media, and advertising campaigns. Make recommendations where you see opportunities for improvement.
- Research: Conduct competitor analysis and market research as directed.
- Metrics: Weekly reporting on marketing metrics.
- Events: Assist in organising events (face-to-face and digital) and promotional activities. Support with the planning and management of logistics, resources, and team members for our client's attendance at exhibitions and events as well as client-hosted events and webinars. Attend events as a face of our client if required. Help create/update/order marketing materials, merchandise, and collateral.
- PR: Monitor and react to media coverage, client mentions, and reviews. Write case studies and award submissions.
You’ll have:
1. A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or related field or relevant work experience.
2. 2+ years of experience in a marketing role.
3. Experience in the financial sector is desirable but not essential. However, the ability to be interested in the subject matter of what finance enables, i.e., how it enables businesses to start, grow, and diversify, and the attraction and benefits for investors – is essential.
4. Proficient skills in marketing tools such as Canva, MailChimp, Social Media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube), Hootsuite, and Google Analytics.
5. A balance of creative mindset and analytical skills.
6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with other teams.
7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
8. Experience with Sales Force is desirable but not essential.
9. Strong attention to detail and organisational abilities.
