The Role
Our client is looking for a Mid-weight Shopify Developer to join their team in Exeter. You’ll work on exciting new Shopify builds, bringing polished Figma designs to life with clean, fast, and conversion-focused code.
You’ll be implementing advanced subscription setups, integrating smart third-party tools, and ensuring every site you deliver is mobile-first, scalable, and optimised for performance.
What You’ll Be Doing

Building new Shopify storefronts (Shopify 2.0, Liquid, HTML, SCSS, JS) from approved Figma designs

Implementing and customising subscription platforms like Skio or Recharge

Integrating APIs and third-party tools such as Klaviyo, LoyaltyLion, and Gorgias

Ensuring mobile-first, accessible, and performance-optimised builds

Collaborating with designers, project managers, and marketers to keep projects running smoothly

Contributing to coding standards, documentation, and process improvements
What We’re Looking For

Experience in front-end development, ideally in an agency or ecommerce environment

Proven Shopify theme development skills, including Shopify 2.0

Strong Liquid, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and vanilla JavaScript skills

Experience with subscription platforms (Skio, Recharge, etc.)

Confident integrating best-in-class Shopify apps

Strong attention to detail when translating Figma designs into live builds

Understanding of performance optimisation and ecommerce SEO best practice

Location: Exeter office (hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Our client is ideally looking for someone who wishes to work on a hybrid with three days in the office each week, however they are flexible for the right individual.
