You’ll be an important link between clients and colleagues, helping to keep communication, enquiries and administration moving smoothly across the business.
 

This is a varied role combining client communication, administration and coordination. You’ll manage incoming enquiries, make sure support requests reach the right people, keep clients updated and help maintain the accurate records and processes that keep the wider business running efficiently.
 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Triaging incoming support tickets through their ticketing system, allocating them to the appropriate team members and keeping an eye on deadlines and agreed service levels.
• Answering incoming calls and making sure enquiries reach the right person or team.
• Managing the shared inbox, dealing with or directing general client and supplier enquiries, as well as work experience and apprenticeship requests.
• Keeping clients informed about important company-wide updates, including service and hosting changes and seasonal office closures.
• Staying in touch with clients throughout projects and identifying where additional services or support could genuinely be useful.
• Keeping client and supplier contact information accurate and up to date, in line with GDPR and the organisation’s Business Management System and ISO standards.

What are we looking for?

We’re working exclusively with a highly regarded professional services business in Exeter that is looking for a Software Engineer to join its IT team.

This is a hands-on development role where you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s LexisNexis Visualfiles platform, developing enhancements, maintaining integrations and helping shape how the system evolves to support the wider business.

You’ll also work across internally developed applications, Microsoft 365, Power Platform, databases and web services, giving you plenty of variety and the opportunity to contribute to wider technology and digital projects.

The Role

About You

You should have:

• Experience training people with varying levels of technical confidence and adapting your approach to different learning styles.
