This is a key role within a busy environment where infrastructure underpins day-to-day operations and is an exciting opportunity to make improvements and really shape the direction of travel for the business from an infrastructure perspective.</p>

<p>You&rsquo;ll take ownership of the organisation&rsquo;s infrastructure and backend systems, ensuring they are reliable, secure and scalable, while also playing a key role in how the environment evolves over time.</p>

<p>The position is predominantly hands-on with an element of leadership, giving you the opportunity to stay close to the technology whilst influencing direction and supporting others.</p>

<p><strong>What You&rsquo;ll Be Doing</strong></p>

<p><u>Infrastructure Delivery &amp; Projects</u></p>

	<li>Lead the implementation and deployment of infrastructure solutions</li>
	<li>Ensure projects are delivered in line with design, timelines and business needs</li>
	<li>Carry out testing and validation to ensure performance and reliability</li>
</ul>

<p><u>Maintenance &amp; Optimisation</u></p>

	<li>Own monitoring, alerting and proactive issue resolution</li>
	<li>Manage patching, upgrades and ongoing system maintenance</li>
	<li>Analyse performance and plan for future capacity requirements</li>

<p><u>Security &amp; Compliance</u></p>

	<li>Embed security best practices across infrastructure environments</li>
	<li>Support vulnerability management, testing and risk mitigation</li>
	<li>Ensure alignment with relevant standards and regulatory requirements</li>

<p><u>Leadership &amp; Collaboration</u></p>

	<li>Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a small team</li>
	<li>Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver infrastructure solutions</li>

	<li>Maintain clear documentation across systems and processes</li>

	<li>Proven experience in infrastructure engineering within a fast paced and ever-changing environment and strong knowledge of:</li>

	<li>Experience supporting highly available environments</li>
	<li>Good understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practice</li>
